This site is hosted within an S3 bucket in my personal AWS account and the domain was registered via Route53. I was able to create some type A DNS files to map the destination to my cloudfront distribution.
The reason for working within Cloudfront was to both gain the knowledge, as well as provide the ability to use the HTTPS protocol which S3 static website hosting isn't compatible with natively.
